Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent much of her legal career fighting for gender equality and women's rights, winning many arguments before the Supreme Court. She received attention from passionate dissents in numerous cases, widely seen as reflecting classically liberal views of the law. She was nicknamed, "The Notorious R.B.G.", to which she later embraced. She passed away on September 18, 2020, but she continues to serve as an icon to all advocates of equal rights.
